Living in this modern stressful and unhealthy environment, can cost us our health and peace of mind. Junk food, computers, radiation, and what have you, can add up if we are not careful to release them. I have been practicing these techniques and they work fine with me.

If you have health issue, please check with your doctor for your health conditions before using.

Tips to start your day with healthy habits:

1. When you open your eyes, don’t rush up from your bed, while still laying down, do these:
* Rub the palms of your hands together until it is warm, your blood circulation will flow better.

* Rub or massage your two ears, from top to the bottom. It has effect of releasing stress,and anxiety. I find it helps me a lot.

* Give a good stretch, with your face and chest still laying straight, cross your right leg over to the other leg, stay there for a count of 20 (more if you like), do the opposite direction too.

This will help your blood to circulate, and you will feel more awake when you step out of your bed.

Living a healthy lifestyle means making healthy choices everyday for the Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit. Exercise Physically, Mentally and Spiritually as well.

Exercising everyday is a very good practice to keep, but if you are a very busy person, and you can’t keep up with it, exercising at least 3 times a week, even with only 15-20 mins is still better than not at all. Taking walks are excellent exercises. Walking up and down a flight of stairs several times is also an excellent exercise. Do be cautious if you have any heart problem,
and don’t over do it.

2. Drink 1 big glass of plain water, then go wash your face and brush teeth. After that, drink another big glass of plain water or juices if you like. If you are a coffee drinker, no problem,then enjoy your coffee but don’t add white sugar, but with honey.


There are many grades of honey, the very high grades honey with at least 16 – 19 UMF or more are those with therapeutic healing properties, so needless to say is more costly.
For these kind of honey only use it for direct consumption.

If you want to include in your coffee, use the lower grades ones just for taste.
I use that for my morning coffee or afternoon tea.

3. If you have a desk bound job, practice getting up to move around after working at your desk
for a few hours. Stretching is also good.

Purposely walk a bit longer distant to your work place or to any destination you are heading towards. If you are using the computer for long hours, move away from it after working at it
for a few hours.

One good way to relief some eye strain, is to rub your palms together until it is hot, then cup your palms over your eyes until the heat of your palm is gone. Repeat this exercise a few times.
After that, you can also use your fingers to tap lightly around your eye area. Massage lightly between your eyebrows in a circular movement will help your eyes to ease tension and helps blood circulation.

4. Do some deep breathing exercises, it helps to reduce stress and help give you clarity of mind
too.

5. Take some Meme time. Listen to your favorite music or songs for a while, don’t need to be
many hours. Take a few minutes to meditate, Just close your eyes and plug in your meditation CD. I find that when I plug in those meditation CD with brainwave effects, it helps me a lot.

6. Laughter is the Best medicine. It gives your body the added benefits of reducing the level of stress hormones like cortisol, dopamine, adrenaline, epinephrine, and growth hormone. It also increases the level of health hormones like endorphins, and neurotransmitters. Laughter increases the number of antibody-producing cells and enhances the efficiency of T-cells. Gives you stronger immune system, as well as removing the many harmful effects of stress.

I also will have my routine of putting on my Brainwave CD, Holoysnc, to help alter my brain-

Sometimes I just go to Youtube and look for funny videos on animals or comedies, and just
laugh for a while.
(Be careful not to get hooked, limit to one to two videos each time and move on)

7. Don’t starve yourself, and also don’t over eat unnecessarily. It’s good to eat some healthy
snacks or go drink some afternoon tea and take a short break. I love eating dried healthy
mixed nuts with all sort of assortments together with raisins, figs and dried fruits. This will
keep your energy and concentration up.

And I also have my mind health routine that I use everyday, and they are:

1. Holoysnc Brainwave CD
(I use it every morning )

2. Before I sleep, I will not watch TV, but will put on Hypnosis CDs, I have many of these
Hypnosis CDs in my library, but I will use one particular title eg: Abundance, repeat this CD for at least a month and then change the next one. I just plug on my headphones, set the HiFi timer for 30 -60 mins, set the volume to a comfortable level and just dose off as my sub-conscious mind listens. I don’t have to consciously listen to the words because it will be tiring, so just relax and sleep as the CD just play in a loop for 30-60 mins and your subconscious will get the messages.

Our subconscious mind is at the alpha stage 30 mins before you dose off, and will receive and store up messages being delivered to you at the conscious level, and that’s when you are still awake.

That’s why before I sleep, I will never watch TV, or even listen to the radio station, cos,most of the songs that are broadcast over the radio, are those moody, sad love songs that speak about broken hearts, or someone leaving someone ..I think you know what I
mean.

3. During the day, when I am working at my computer, I will listen to soothing music or songs
that have positive words. I like to always play this song by Michele Blood Right Place, Right Time.” It will be played softly as background music that runs in a loop until I am satisfied.

    This sounds like a very soothing routine. Although I my routine is a little different, I find I am much more relaxed and productive then I follow it. Unfortunately, I’ve been getting away from it recently with all of the holiday stress and lack of sleep. Thanks for the reminder to get back to my healthy ways.
