Check out Daylle’s post on this topic Here “Turning A Negative To Positive With Just A Thought”
This is all about finding something in your life you currently have negative thoughts or feelings toward and deciding to look at it differently.
A Seemingly Negative Move Has Brought Me FREEDOM !
I walked away from a relationship with a heavy heart. It should be normal to feel this way because I have been well loved, well cared for, well protected. Everybody said that I am most fortunate to be in this state.. and I thought it was too..
I have never thought I will make such a move…. Not when I began to feel myself giving my freedom, time, energy away too much in exchange for this so called fortunate state.
When I was still enjoying the relationship, no one will ever imagine and especially myself that I will just call it a day and move on in life…and when that happened…I found one very precious moment that I will treasure for the rest of my life .. and that is FREEDOM !” Once I made a decision to move on .. I just felt a BIG baggage just lifted off from me! A refreshing and joyous feelings just rushed in to greet me… and I am so glad I have made that decision.
Well, before I made that decision, I just was happy to have this pillar for my life but somehow there has always been a little nudge in me that says I am giving too much of my time and freedom away…and ultimately a very energy draining relationship.
How I discovered that I should walk away from it all, was that I started to detach myself, and withdraw from it for a while and test it out. At first I was having mixed feelings that I am doing the right move or not. ..yes there were moments of regrets too.
But even though I felt this way, I seemed to enjoy the taste of freedom.
Slowly but surely.. I treasure my new found freedom more and more.. more and more and more and more…….I think you get point.
What I have learned from this experience is:
1. Freedom is better than being loved “possessively”
2. If the relationship is energy draining, it is no fun !
3. Space in a relationship is very vital
I have turned a seemingly negative move and decision to a glorious experience that I will treasure for life!
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
I am blessed & so are You,
Gamy Rachel

When I left my husband who I married at the young age of 20, I danced to freedom. We’re conditioned to mourn the end of a relationship. I mourned while I was in it. Having married so young I never tasted freedom. I’ve talked about this on radio shows and heard from many women who were made to feel guilty about feeling this same way. You’re right Gamy–freedom rocks!
Thanks for sharing this for the challenge! : )

Hi Gamy,
Thanks for participating in the Think Different Challenge.
Well done for having the courage to leave a relationship that was suffocating you. Every human being should experience freedom, and I believe that when you find the right person you won’t feel as if they are taking away your freedom. Until then, keep having fun and enjoying the freedom you currently have :).
Peter
