Psst…Admit it. FEAR can grip you. Feel your goose bumps rising? And your body shaking, your palms sweaty, and your heartbeats faster? Is this just imaginations or for real? Well, if you don’t know how to handle fear, it can be as real as it can be.
Fears or anxiety, according to Freud, is a basic emotion that influences everyone’s life from earliest childhood. This influence shapes your life, as you grow old. Usually, the things that you fear in your childhood are still the same things that you fear even when you get older. This only suggests that it is never easy to conquer fears especially if you don’t have a willing heart, a focused mind and people to help you.
Fears vary. Some of you may fear imagined objects; some fear real things and activities; and some have particular dreads (phobias). While there are some who are weird enough that they just suddenly lose out of control of their actions and reasons. You commonly know these startling out-of-the-blue-attacks of intense fear or terror as panic disorders.
Your fears, as mentioned by experts, are learned response but they can be unlearned.
Doctors may expose you to your respective fears that may take place in real life or in your imagination. While there are those who will encourage you to talk with others who have the same fears as you have.
Yet the best and the most effective therapy in treating fears are not those that doctors can offer. Even the most skillful doctor, cannot cure you from fear, because no one but YOURSELF can do it.
However if you can learn from someone who has overcame fear, tried and tested, you can certainly cut the hook of fear.
Change The Channel
Have you watched any horror movie before? If you don’t want to frighten yourself, what do you do? Yes, change the channel. That’s simple right?
But often we don’t change the channel, or maybe don’t know how to change the channel.
Freedom from your fears lies in your hands and in your hands alone.

Change the channel, defy your fears and be free!
Watch a better channel
Don’t change the channel and go to another disgusting channel. It’s like jumping from one frying pan to another. Choose a channel that entertains and relaxes you. A channel that adds value to you.
Do a fast
Fast from watching any channel sometimes. Change to meditation. Whenever I have filled my mind with garbage, I will do a fast. It feels good to do a fast from watching, listening and talking about things that will cause fear and affect your mood.
Replenish with positive
After a good fast, replenish with the positive, feed your mind with positive. Removing without replenishing will cause a void. Not good. Your mind and heart is not meant to have any void. If it is left void too long, it will be filled with something, most often fear will creep in. So don’t allow that.
Hope this few tips will help you to change channel if you are coping with fear.

Hi there,
Recently, I did a check on my feelings and emotional health. Without realizing it, I have actually improved so much. I am now calmer, happier, less agitated, worry lesser and more creative and alive now. The thing which I most appreciate about my changed is my emotion level. I am more peaceful and very happy now.
I used to be a great time worrier. Due to my responsible nature, I tend to carry a lot of load on myself. I remember in past, I never knew how to enjoy my life. I recall the kind of feelings which I had before my reprogramming of my mind. I was constantly thinking and worrying about my own life, everyone and everything around me.
I can be sitting at a beach in a holiday resort, and yet my inner feelings was always in a turmoil. I never learn how to relax and enjoy the “now”. I tried very hard to change by reading many self-help books, think positive books, though it did help me in some sort, but the good moments never lasted long. I soon fall back to my worrying and anxious state of mind.
Some of my friends have always asked me this question “Where are you now?”
Your body is here but your mind is so far away.
Yes, I was far away thinking of my life, my future and everything else except now.
Thank God, I have found a few tools that I have been using consistently daily, and now I am a very happy person. The feelings are so different from the past now. I really treasure what I have now. I truly enjoy my every “now” moment. I really have to thank all the creators of these programs that I have been using. I also highly recommend that you check them out.

These are the things I do daily to have this change in my emotion.
Be consistent.
1. Use the tools daily without fail.
2. Meditate, using the tools.
3. Be patient, and never give up
* Before I sleep, I will put on my headphone, set my Hi Fi timer to sleep mode,
set it in a loop for 30 mins or sometimes 60 mins (you can have it shorter)
I will lay down and relax with the Hypnosis CD playing. It will have all the words speaking softly. I will not try to keep awake if I doze off half way. That is why I set my Hi Fi to switch off automatically in 30 to 60 mins.
Though I fell asleep before the CD ends, my subconscious mind will be listening to all the affirmation words.
* When I wake up in the morning, I immediately put on the Brainwave CD and listen for 30 mins to 60mins
before I wake up. So I will wake up earlier to do that. If I intent to wake up a

and only play those affirmation words.
I do all the above consistently without fail. That is why I can experience my mood change to one that is happier, calmer and more peaceful. You can too , if you are consistent .

I am in sales in a home based business and also work for a
bank with high sales goals. I have always done well but
this has helped me to take it up a notch. One of the road
blocks to my business has been making the phone calls to my
customers, so I put on the “End Procrastination Now” Cd’s

myself to just try to make the calls for an hour. Three
hours later I had contacted many of my customers. My first

I love what Mike Brescia said about the meaning of life, and what we were told when we were helplessly young, what kind of messages have been delivered to us when we were at the mercy of people authority figures over us.
- What have you been called when you were growing up
- What have your sub-conscious mind captured from young till now?
- How have all these negatives messages affected you and the way you think and hence also affected
your progress in life and the way you see yourself?
These are some good questions to ask yourself. If you think you have been a victim of those negatives messages and have been called with stupid name, don’t despair, you can change it now, because you have the authority and choices to change ALL that now.

Well, I say bull…

The meaning of life…
That is a great question to ponder, eh?
Until the end of our time on Earth, people will be asking it.
I don’t know what the answer is, but I know what it is not.
The meaning of each of our lives is not the meaning our
parents and teachers gave us.
Because way too often, as we are growing up and learning how to feed and clothe ourselves and how to stay in line and how to keep quiet and how to wash our hands, etc., we are told a lot of things that just aren’t true.
For example, most of us have it drilled into us that we have very defined limits that we should stay within. We
are sold on the fact that we have limited capabilities.
Don’t work too hard, now.
We are told that we aren’t as good as other people, that we’re not as smart as other people, that we’re not smart enough… that we don’t measure up.
I remember back when I was around 19, I was told by a guy… (he was 25) that this girl I was interested in (she was 20, I believe) was “out of my league.” Well, I knew he was full of it… And my suspicions were confirmed soon after when I learned that he, himself, was putting the moves on her. So he had a motive for saying what he did.
The point is, so many people would be affected by comments like his, especially if they were repeated by one or more people over a long period of time. People who hear comments like his often believe them on a deeper level of mind and so they can have life-long effects.
And it’s the same for everyone who has ever put you down.
They have their own, probably selfish, reasons.
And the truth is, their reasons have nothing to do with you and your true capabilities and your true value.
But it’s experiences like these, being criticized, making mistakes, forgetting things, being defeated, a poor grade, a rejection, being teased, getting passed over, not invited to some event…
…These things, which have no true power are given HUGE
POWER over people because they give these events/results
meanings that dis-empower them.
Forgetting something means you are stupid
Being laughed at means you’re no good.
Losing the game means you are a loser.
Getting a C means you’ll never be who you dream of being.
Being hit and screamed at as a kid means you are worthless.
Being poor means you aren’t as valuable as people who have
money…
If these things happen repeatedly or for a long time, they
must be true, our minds tell us.
So we learn… we know beyond a shadow of a doubt that we
have limits and that we cannot go beyond them. Period.
Well, I say bull****.
I say that if you are reading this, you, at least on some
small level, say bull****, too.
I discovered the purpose of my life, which is to help people become their best selves by training them to think
like and act like the most successful among us, in 1998.
And all my major decisions since then have been with my purpose in mind.
So the meaning of life, I believe, is different for each of us…
There are so many ways to excel and to contribute and to make a positive difference to others immediately and for hundreds and thousands of years.
The worst, most pathetic way to live?
Not to be of value to others… to live with only our immediate pleasure to guide our decisions and actions. To
be dishonest.

And Mike, as for me, I’ve been wanting to email you about the tape I’ve been listening to for 3 months now: Supreme Self-Confidence Now. - because of it, you’re changing - and saving - my life. I haven’t emailed about it because it’s
a) difficult to talk about and
b) my progress is happening on a daily basis so I wanted to ‘wait’ till something major happened before telling you.
But I guess saving someone’s life is pretty major.
For the last 8-9 years, I’ve been suffering from anorexia.
Given I’ve only just turned 27, that’s a third of my life that’s been lived in a mental prison. No-one in my family has broached it, and I’ve been guarded and reclusive all
this time. I never questioned it, never even thought about it, even though it has been putting me at risk of early- onset osteoporosis, and I’ve had chronic amenorrhea
(absence of periods) because I don’t have enough estrogen/body fat in my body. The latter puts me at risk of infertility for the rest of my life.
I started listening to your tape 3 months ago primarily because my self-esteem had copped a real beating during my Ph.D.
Since it finished, I have also been unsuccessful in applying for funding grants to commence a postdoc research project on my area (fair trade for third-world producers), which has further weakened my sense of self-esteem & self-worth. It’s awfully sobering to research so hard 7 days a week for 3 1/2 years on something you’re passionate about & have become an expert in, only to have organisations close the door on your proposals for further study & practical implementation of your work to benefit less fortunate people, and to be unemployed.
In short, I’ve had awful negative thinking & self- criticism, compounded by these disappointing circumstances. Mum (who had your Supreme Self-Confidence Now tape)
suggested I listen to it & so I did.
I had some awful dreams at night for about 2 weeks when I’d been listening to it before bed. Then after that, I didn’t seem to berate myself, and didn’t jump to conclusions about what others might be thinking of me (in a critical way). I started acting confidently.
Then, one day (at around the 3 month mark), I was driving with my Mum & I said ‘Mum, do you think I have an eating problem & need help?’.
She couldn’t express the significance of what I’d just said, nor could I.
Within the last 10 days, I have contacted 2 eating disorder foundations for referrals to a dietician & psychological help, borrowed a number of books on recovering from anorexia, set up psychotherapy sessions starting this week & had an appointment with a nutritionist.
The nutritionist wanted to know what ‘tape’ I was listening to, because I kept referring to it during my session with her because I am moving so fast through the steps I need to take to recover.
This is pretty unusual for anorexics, for whom a very long recovery period is expected. I’ve given her the details of your website & the tape, and only hope she refers her other clients to it.
What’s more, I have begun - slowly, and not without a fair bit of self-convincing & encouragement & support from my Mum - to implement the nutritionist’s eating program she asked me to begin. It took me 2 days to start it, but I’ve started, and know I’ve just started a new & profound behavioral pattern that will take me towards health & most of all, happiness.
Thank you Mike, you’re changing my life, and me, every day with this tape. It has really upset my family too to see me so ill & in such denial for so many years.
I’ve never seen my Mum so happy. It’s like a huge oppressive weight has lifted from our world.
Perhaps it’s hard for me to really get you to understand what this feels like, but I’m indebted to you because of this tape, and its implications are huge:

The Amazing Powers of Self Hypnosis

I want to share a success story about hypnosis for weight loss. There are so many, but this one stands out in my mind and touches my heart. I was working in the summer of 2004 with a young lady named Jen. She was 19 at the time and was scheduled to undergo gastric bypass surgery. This surgery is very drastic and involved stapling the stomach so that the person can no longer eat large meals. She also already had liposuction but regained all of her weight. Her father had died and all her mother wanted was for Jen to be happy.
As they both sat in my office in tears, Jen told me that this was her last attempt to lose weight before killing herself. After her mom left the room, we began the hypnosis session. While in a trance, Jen remembered being abused by her father. It was traumatic for her to recall this, but helpful at the same time. Jen also revealed that she had “built up a protective layer” with the excess weight. She explained while under hypnosis that the weight repelled men and kept her “safe.”
After Jen was out of hypnosis, I invited her mom back into the office. The three of us discussed this unfortunate event. Her mom said that she had suspected that it happened, but never had proof until now. Jen returned the next week and we began working on re-building her self-esteem using hypnosis. This is very easy to do with hypnosis since the messages go directly to the subconscious mind. If you want to do this yourself, just make a tape with positive suggestions that you play in bed each night as you go to sleep.
In the four weeks that followed, I was able to reframe the way she felt about eating right, exercising, and taking care of herself in general. After only six sessions, I told Jen that I had done all the work we needed to do.
Last week, Jen sent me an e-mail with a picture. You see, I had programmed her to continue to eat right, exercise, and take care of herself. Well, the picture she sent looked like a model! Jen had gone from 325 lbs. to 115 lbs! The e-mail was even more inspirational. Here’s what she wrote:
