Turkey is a little higher in fat than chicken breast but it has just as much protein and it tastes great. The little bit extra fat that it has is no big deal as long as you are exercising. For some reason or another it is just not as popular as chicken, but if you are getting tired of the same old chicken breast day in and day out you have have to try some different things from time to time just so that you can stay on the right track.
Lean cuts of beef are another great choice for your protein source. Unless you are in training for some kind of pro fitness of bodybuilding show there is no reason that you can not incorporate some beef into your diet from time, to time. I like to eat steak every week, and hamburger. As long as you get lean hamburger you are not going to be set back by eating it. Unless you are a political vegan, or you are allergic you should be eating beef. You just make sure that you are doing fat loss cardio workouts. Do not miss out because of what some fitness magazine told you. Beef is also a great source of natural creatine.
The leanest of all sources of protein is white, flaky fish. Fish has to be a part of your fat burning diet. This stuff is totally fat free, and it tastes great too. If you are looking to get really lean, then fresh white fish should be the corner stone of your diet. Eat it every day, baked, or broiled, and make sure that it is fresh.
